Srinagar- Aru
We will collect you from the Srinagar TRC office and transport you to the picturesque village of Aru. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. The town is situated at 2414 meters, offering breathtaking views. You will spend the night at the Aru Campsite.
Aru village to Lidderwat
Embark on a 10 km hike from Aru village to Lidderwat, a 5-6 hour journey with a 412m elevation gain, and a night stay at camp.
Lidderwat to the Shekwas
Hike from Lidderwat to the Shekwas campsite, covering a distance of 06 km, which takes approximately 4-5 hours, with an elevation gain of 582 meters. Overnight accommodation will be at our campsite.
Shekwas camp to Tarsar Lake
Hike from Shekwas camp to Tarsar Lake, covering a distance of 5 kilometres in about 3 to 4 hours. There will be a gain of 400 meters in elevation, and you will spend the night at the camp.
Tarsar Lake to Sundersar camp
Hike from Tarsar Lake to Sundersar camp, covering kilometres in approximately 3 to 4 hours with an elevation gain of 180 meters. Accommodation will be provided at the camp.
Sundersar base to explore Marsar Lake
Hike from Sundersar base to explore Marsar Lake and continue to cover a distance of 9 kilometres in about 6 to 7 hours. The highest point reached will be at 4100 meters, where you will spend the night at the camp.
Homwas to Aru Village
13km hike from Homwas to Aru Village, followed by a 3-4 hour taxi ride to Srinagar, covering a distance of 112km.
